Well, here they are.

Sound fantastic! Excellent condition! All the drivers appear to be supple.

The woofer surrounds are butyl rubber and are absolutely perfect.

The details:

Bass Range: Down to 25 cps.
Treble Range: Extends to 35,000 cps.
Overall Frequency Range: Virtually flat from 25 to 35,000 cps
Impedance: 8 to 16 ohms.
Crossover: Full three-way L-C at 1800 and 8000 cps
Power Rating: 75 watts IHFM; 40 watts continuous
Signal Drive: 3 watts for average listening level.
Distortion: Less than 3/4% from 50 cps to 35,000 cps; less than 3% at 30 cps.
Speakers: Heavy duty 12" pneumatic suspension woofer: two shielded, back-loaded, bi-polar, mid-treble wide dispersion lens radiators and a dome lens compression type multicellular ultra-high treble horn.
Speaker magnet: 9-1/2 lb ceramic magnet structure.
Controls: Continuously variable mid and treble "kontoured acoustic" controls.
Grille: Shap-off frame with fully finished walnut speaker panel with replaceable grille cloth.
Finish: Oiled walnut on all 6 sides.
Wood: Walnut
Size: 24"x14"x12"

I also obtained the brochure, warranty card and "quick setup" instructions.

I must say, I'm very pleased with them! :thmbsp:

Now that's a pair of Goodmans that I HAVEN'T got in my collection. Haven't even heard of them until this post. Wish you hadn't have brought these to my attention 'cos now I'm gonna have to try and track down a pair! . Are you sure that they are basically flat down to 25Hz? It's just that I've not seen many speakers smaller than a fridge/freezer that are capable of that kind of bass extension.

Those look awesome.....we do not hear enough about Goodmans here on AK. I love em" :yes: IMO they (Goodmans) made some of the finest drivers of that era....

Not sure about the bass extension -- I just printed what is in the spec brochure. :thmbsp:

Judging from the graphics on the brochure, and the overall aesthetics of the speakers (particularly the grilles) I'd say these Goodmans are from sometime in the mid to late 60s. Their overall condition indicates single owner speakers (until I got 'em). :yes:

I don't have a scanner but will get a scan of the brochure ASAP. However, I included all the vital data in my description that I posted.
