Hi guys,
I really don't have more space since I live in an small apartment but how I could leave these speakers in my local GoodWill. Yamaha NS-70T. They are in excellent condition and are very rare according the internet. They asked $ 8.00 each. Well, I got them. They are 3 way and I believe are the domestic version of the NS-500 studio monitors. Drivers are like new and the boxes only have some small scratch. The grill is also like new. I don't know what to do with them. I did a quick test and they sounded excellent with and extremely accurate high end. I will post some pictures.

Well for $16.00 how could you leave them :D They look to be in great condition.

Those are unbelievable! They look like mint condition. What a score! If you can't enjoy their potential then sell them to someone who can and by yourself a quality pair that fit your space. Congrats on landing those!

Yes, they are mint and sound very good. I didn't know anything about them before and I am used to listening to quality speakers such as B&W, Paradigm Studio, Monitor Audio, etc. Well, these Yamaha sound extremely good for its age. They have extended highs and very well defined mid frequency. Bass is also decent and deep.

Damm! Nice find. How come my Goodwills only have crappy Sounddesign and Yorx speakers?

While I was out today getting paint I stopped at my GW and there was a pair of Marantz there that looked almost Identical to those...Well at least through the front grille's ?? I couldn't get the sumbitches off ?? The looked fairly cheasey so I kept on a walkin' I believe $25 was the ticket on them

They look like the ones Yamaha made in the '70s, correct? For some reason I've always wanted a pair like that. I don't know if I ever heard them properly (probably listened in a store at some time or other), but they always seemed to me like just the speakers one ought to have.

*envy*

You couldn't pass those up. The thrifts here in my city have been dryed up for years. I think that the donors and/or employees are now dilligent ebayers as I never find anything decent anymore. I've only found a few decent things that I bought in the last four or five years. They don't even ever have hardly any vinyl anymore. Just one box or so of junk records that are overpriced. Not that I need any more vinyl.:D Nice score.
