Got this to pick up next week from a scrap yard. Some kind of Kenwood ham radio stuff

Even though I arrived 30 minutes before opening, there must have been 30 people ahead of me at the GW yard sale. I'm surprised it lasted that long. I wonder if the previous owner gave up on her because of one bad EL84.

Reverse CL score. Somebody came by to purchase some Infinity speakers I had on CL. Nice demo session in my garage and he bought them. When I mentioned that I like silver faced equipment he said he had one in his garage for 20 years and I was welcome to it. So I took a trip to his garage and brought back this for $20. Very dirty score.

Don't find much anymore, but did pick up a Pioneer SX-950, dirty but otherwise working fine, for $10 out of a thrift store on my way back from a meeting down at Pax River NAS a couple of weeks back. Tuner seemed exceptionally sensitive, as it was picking up stations with no antenna connected at all...

I got this a Gibson USA neon sign at flea market for $5 today believe it or not. I knew it was neon due to transformer, but had to look closely to see what inside do to heavily mirrored front glass. The plexi housing a little cracked up, but I took a chance on the neon tube being okay.

I saw the iconic little boxing marsupial in the cart at Goodwill and for a couple bucks I had to have it.
Lemon Pie will be so excited!

Picked up a nice little Honda generator today at my local GW. Starts every time on the first pull!
Not bad for 62 dollars.

Anyting Honda with an engine for $62 is a score and a half.

I left several smashing pumpkins, Pearl Jam, and several otger solid albums behind. Really not him on CD value yet. Most of my focus remains on Records.
