Can't justify a 6th table.....

Just a lovely sight :thmbsp:

Maybe if I close my eyes a bit, I can pretend that my Pioneer PL50 looks the same..... :scratch2:

He was able to get his cueing to work, both of mine are missing the little pad that lifts on the tone arm.

I wonder if he would take 200 for it?:D

That capstan looks different from the one on my dad's 598. I'm guessing this is a later model and doesn't have the 78 option. Definitely a beautiful table, and it's nice that the cabling is set and you don't have to deal with the factory connector.

I wonder what the difference is between the black and green AT95E other than color. The black one definitely looks nicer. I wish mine wasn't green.

Was at an estate auction about 6 or 7 years ago, there was a lot of vintage audio including an Empire turntable in beautiful condition. I wanted it so bad but I was between jobs at the time and got outbid. I started talking to the guy that was buying everything at this auction which included Marantz stuff, numerous RTR's, turntables, receivers, lots of quality speakers, etc. He told me he a was a collector but this was BS !!!! About a week and a half later I saw everything on ebay :thumbsdn:.This really pissed me off, especially when he lied in some of the ebay auctions saying he got the stuff from a longtime friend. Don't remember what the Empire went for but I should have kept bidding.
