It doesn’t get much more mid century than these two beauties! I can see why they called them the 57 Chevy dashboard. Clearly when heathkit went over to solid state they kept some of the tube tooling around. The AA-151 is one of the best sounding tube amplifiers I’ve heard and has just sold but luckily the AA-21 solid state amp showed up just before I shipped the 151 out so I could see them both at the same time. We had an AA-21 in our 7th grade music room and I got to operate it when our teacher let us bring in our 45s and play them in 1965-66. He knew I would be careful with it and the Dual turntable.

The speakers were in the wall and sounded great.

That’s awesome. Can’t wait to get it singing again. It’s seriously distorted. Tore it open and there some very strange components in there! Very interesting piece.
