Got a PL-115D, needs new belt

I got a PL-115D for $15 at goodwill. It needs a new belt. How do I replace the belt and where do I get a new one?
Also how good is this this turntable?
I promised that I would sell it to my brother, but I am more curious to know if it is as good as my HT-660


Edit: Misread pl-115d as pl-112d.

The electronic store near my house has belts for most popular brands and models.
They are usually around $6.00 before tax.

It sticks a little sometimes - same when you try to lift it off the spindle. Just keep it straight, apply pressure close to the spindle and it should reseat.

I have one that I bought in 1976. It is a good table - very reliable with decent sound. If you search the forums, there are a lot of good ideas on cleaning, maintenance and tweaks.

I got a new belt at http://www.needledoctor.com/ but there are a lot of places that will sell that belt.
 
What about turntableneedles or Garage a records belts?

This project will cost more then i expected

IIRC, turntableneedles.com and garage-a-records.com do not charge any additional shipping fee for turntable belt purchases.
 
Thanks. Also I can't read the table is actually a PL-115D but the belts are the same so all should work.

congrats on that deck, got one here with a pickering xv-15 on it, very sweet sounding..doesnt always auto return..but other than that..very nice.
seems to me that things had to be aligned just so to drop the platter all the way down (I think it was that one anyway)
 
I got the belt today! Thank, jleon92f! I am testing it out now with my OM/digitrac! Very surprised, it isn't the most detailed turntable but it make thrift albums sound great. It bass is nice and rythmic along with the percussion. The sound is a little bit muddled when a lot is going on compared to my Hitachi but that I think is too be expected. I need to see how classical sounds on.
 
Also is there a way to reduce rumble? Even with OM/digitracsquare the thing still has a heavy bass, polar opposite of my Hitachi I think rumble would inflate the bass right?
 
Rumble is more likely to make your woofers quake at frequencies below the audible range. I'd suspect acoustic feedback as the reason for the excessive bass response. If your turntable is near your speakers, try moving it out of the zone where they're pumping out a lot of bass.
