Got a technics sl-d3 for free

I already had a technics sl-d2 from a garage sale for $5. That was my first tt find a few months ago. Then the other day i got another sl-d2 for $40 which included a pickering xsv/4000 cart.

Now today someone in my neighborhood offered me a free turntable. Turns out its a sl-d3 which i didnt have. The difference to the d2 seems to be that is has repeat mode and a couple other things. Otherwise very similiar. Oh and it came with no cart, thats ok, but it works. Its dirty butbworks. Needs some love. Any word on this tt model?

Yeah. My 13 year old nephew seemed interested in my recent audio hobby. Im thinking about building him a system for his room. Hes at that age that he needs to discover some good ole rock and roll and on vinyl even better.

SL-D3 = Fully automatic
SL-D2 = Semi automatic
