Got a used MCD205 and I am very impressed

I was saving my money because I just had to have a McIntosh CD Player. ( you know how it is you fellow McAddicts) Kept looking around, kept coming up short on my stash money for a 201, and frankly you guys were scaring me with that 400 page, Review of my MCD201 thread! So, although I might have gotten a 201 without any problems if I held out, and saved more money, and I know the soon to come out 301 is not within the budget for now, so here I am happy again with another McPurchase.

So, I got a used 205 from Audioclassics ( thanks Mike S) that fit into my stash money budget( money the wife can't touch ):D
Got it here, it looks great, works great, and sounds awesome.:music:
I am very pleased.
Of course I am only satisfied for some period of time till the Mcvaccine injection of more new McIntosh in my house wears off and I need another fix. :D

Congratulations! Your process was similar to mine. I never thought I'd even use the changer function, but boy was I wrong! Feel like some REM? Load her up with five CDs, press "Random," and relax.

A very nifty piece of Mac gear. Welcome to the "205 Club!" :thmbsp:

I think that the MCD205 is a sleeper CDP. Too bad it's discontinued. The Musicbank worked flawlessly when I had one.

I'm planning on getting one simply because I miss the changer feature so much. I may sell off my MCD201 if the sonics are similar enough from the MCD205.
