I know, we all like to have nice large systems with big receivers/amplifiers, fancy speakers etc. But there was a time when Boomboxes (Ghettoblasters) were the thing and I'm sure many of us had some kind of a stereo like that. I wonder how many still have one? I know some became pretty collectible. Here is one I have - somewhat rare and usually sells from $500 and up to $1500!!!! Its a Sharp WF-939. Great stereo, actually. Mine, is in need of belts and some service - some controls are scratchy, but otherwise in pretty good shape. Maybe I can find someone who would fix it up. If not, I might sell it, although, I'd miss it - its a great part of boombox history:

In my lysdexia, I thought those things on the bottom of the picture were capacitors at first glance. Cool box - with all of the stickers on it even!
