SNAGGED IT!!!!! FINALLY!!!! After what, now maybe 3 years? Got my Pioneer SA-9800 off Ebay. Wasn't REAL cheap but got it fairly cheap. Needs new wood and laminate on it, sides in back are split a bit. Nick out of the top left edge, but the biggest issue I have is the bent nobs. I am going to start rehabbing it now. Gotta find someone to do the work. Sadly the front has a scratch or two on the amp though, but not too bad.

I will have ALL KINDS of questions on this thing once I get it working. It turns on, all lights work, fluroscan metter is bright and meters bounce. Haven't looked inside yet. Will get pictures shortly to post. So its on now!

Gotta restore my RT-909, get the CT-F1250 Cassette rehabbed and the amp, then I'm golden. When all done, it's onto the Pioneer HPM 100 speakers I keep hearing so much about. Get it? Hearing? Speakers? LOL

May open it up today or tomorrow to get a good look at it. Gotta plug something into it to hear it working. Then it's off to rehab. If anyone has a MINT 9800 front that's scratchless, I'm willing to pay good money on top of the trade.

You have no idea. I want to find a flawless front for it though. Going to get it redone inside and out, then put it in my rack. Then the RT909 and CT-F1250 restore. The whole enchilada.
