You guys have worked me into a frenzy...30 years of nurturing my HPM 100s and now I'm lusting for the 900s...

I stay on Craigslist for hours searching every venue...please, if anybody runs across a pair of these guys...let me know?

Will do, what area are you in?

Might try a stack of 100's as well as I have heard that is good. Some crazy SOB here has a triple stack. :scratch2:

Read my lips...if I could find them, I would stack them...three, four...I have a midrange on one of the 100s that somehow got a small, very small, tear in the conce and it is producing a scratchy sound at higher volume levels and musical patches...I've been looking for a replacement that might cost less than a liver transplant without luck...I wonder if the HPM 900 midrange would work as well...I see these sometimes...? Sounds like you ought to know...

HPM900 mid is different. Different cone material.

Those HPM100 mids can be repaired (tear sealed/patched). I've done it before, it works...
