Noticed this Netflix original and tossed it to the que on it's debut. Got around to watching it last week.

Me & Mrs. binged on 3 episodes the first night and I must say it's bloody damn good. Now I really remember liking Lily so much.

I couldn't get through the 1st episode. Thought it to be predictable, unfunny, and very stiffly acted. Not a big Fonda fan, although like everyone else in it. Was thinking that 1st episodes are many times the most difficult ones for series', so was gonna grit my teeth and try some more.

It does not get better...assessment above is spot on.

I've been watching this now and then, I think it does get better as it goes along and you get to know the characters. It is a bit slow paced but then it's about Seniors and mostly for Seniors.

It has certain clichés also, like old people doing drugs and having sex, sooo cutting edge, twenty five years ago, also the uptight conservative forced to share a home with her laid back hippy dippy relative has been done to death.

They also lifted the basic plot from Brokeback Mountain.

Still, it's a pleasant enough diversion when I'm in the mood for something sedate to watch.
Jane looks good for her age but it's hard to believe that she was once Barbarella.
