Grado Laboratory Series Turntable - Looking for Manual

Recently picked up a Grado Laboratory Series Turntable from the early 60's and am looking for the manual if it still exists anywhere. Was able to refurb it without one, was an interesting design, but I'm mostly just curious to find out more info about this thing. Looks like mine is missing the Dustat in the top left.

Seems like the tonearm was a lot more common than the turntable. Reached out to Grado and they didn't have any additional info. If anyone has any more info on the background of this turntable, I'd really appreciate it.

Very cool. Have never seen that table. The arm yes and theres lot of data on that arm. If you need some send me a PM and I’ll send what I have. I have read Grado is less than helpful on legacy products. You’d think if anyone had the info it would be them.
 
I've been looking for a manual also, let me know if you find any info and I'll do the same for you. I've tracked down a production timeline of sorts. The first mention of a turntable built by Grado was August 1963, the last was March 1964. Grado says they quit building anything other than cartridges in 1964, and quit advertising altogether the same year. No wonder they are fairly rare. Are you in the NW?
 
I don't think he's been here in a while but you might try member Bassphil, he's rebuilt a couple of these before (tables and arms), he knows them inside and out.
 
I had one for a while when I was young and stupid. Sold it and bought a PL12D. They have two motors and a large flywheel inside. Grado sent me a manual upon request, but I no longer have it.

Mine has a 1964 penny glued near the headshell that I'm working on removing, but that interestingly aligns with this timeline!
 
Was curious what the "Dustat looked like, evidently it was available with different bases
possibly as a stand alone and with the Grado turntable.

Solomo, What cartridge came on your TT, If it's the same table I'm thinking of it was a Grado, If so what model? I'm getting ready to work on mine and it didn't come with a cart. I would like to stay with a Grado if I can determine which model was original..
