From Grado:

"There are many analog lovers with record collections that include mono albums. At Grado we strive to have products that will fit all the needs of the analog enthusiast. So now, Grado offers two new cartridge models in a mono version. The MC+ and the ME+ are mounted with an elliciptical diamond. The ME+ uses one of GRADO's upgraded generating systems. All wooden body cartridges are available in mono version. This will make your records quieter and enhance the musical pleasure of these recordings."

I honestly don't see any difference at all between the two cartridges except that the ME+ has a gold body while the MC+ has a silver body.

Thanks Andre for picture.
There's a lot of mysteries to thier prestige cartridge product line.
Maybe intentional on thier part?
So if they make design changes, don't have to do as much explaining?

Andre,
Would you mind taking a pic of your microscope and lights setup. Years back I bought a used college microscope. Eyepieces for 50x and 200x. And halogen puck lights. Per Sparkys AK microscope for stylii thread. But never finished my setup.

Hi, If you want a Mono Conical stylus, then you should perhaps go to Grado 75, it's a MI & Tracking is increased to 2.5 grams. Howver than don't give any more detail on the Conical shape. Some 78 carts are suitable for 33 RMP mono LP playing, some are not. Or there is the DJ series that also tracks at 2.5 grams.

Cheers
