Grado SR225 - Something wrong here?

I saw these SR225's on EB and I am puzzled. I thought that one of the design features of the 225 over the 125 is the screen on the back of the cup vs the perforated disc. These don't look like screens though the badge says SR225. Based on the description, they are apparently a newer headphone, though not the SR225i. Am I missing something? :scratch2:

I can't exactly provide an answer to you question, but I just wanted to throw something in here. A week or so ago, I was trolling through headphone listings on ebay, and found something listed as Grado SR 225. I opened it in a new tap, checked the pictures... definitely pictures of a pair of SR 60's. If you're going to scam people on ebay, don't post pictures that blow the scam immediately.

I saw that same EB listing for the SR125 (SR60). As far as I know, the previous generation also had the screen. That was why a lot of folks mod the SR60 - 125 by replacing the perforated disk with the screen. The guy also says that they have 10 months left on the warranty.

The previous generation (Non-i series) 225's definitely came with metal grills; something looks fishy with that pair. Here's what they should look like...
