Grado Stylus Questions

Does the new line of Grado replacement styli (Green1, Red1, Gold1, etc.) fit the cartridge bodies of the older Prestige line?

If so, what kind of improvement could I expect if I replaced the stylus on my Grado Green with a Gold1 stylus?

I use a Green1 stylus on my '90s XC+ body and it sounds wonderful. The new styli seem to track a lot better than the earlier ones. I have no problem with inner groove distortion.

I think they say there was a 17% reduction in tip mass on the new model stylus .

AFAIK, all Grado carts & stylii are interchangeable.

I've used and listened to the new "1" and the previous generation Prestige Grados quite a bit, the stylus are 100% interchangeable. You can expect more refinement, detail and trackability switching to the Gold1. The new "1" bodies have fewer coil windings which result in a small audible improvement at the expense of slightly reduced output.
