Grado ZF3?

I picked up a Sony PS-5520 with a Grado ZF3 cart and about 300 60s-80s rock lp's for $50 tonight. I tried looking up the Grado, but only found a little. Basically that its a middle of the road "audiophile" cart and that a replacement stylus is $55. Anyone know much about this cart. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I did find an owners manual, which is very helpful. Opinions would still be appreciated. thanks.

It's a very good cartridge and is the equivalent of the current "Blue" model. And stylus for a current Prestige-series cart will fit it. $55 for the stylus is an average price as Grados are fair-trade items and discounts are seldom seen. I would pay it as you're unlikely to get a better cartridge for the money.

It's the previous generation of the current Grado Prestige Blue. I have one which I'm quite fond of, mounted on a Yamaha YP-B2. It's well worth the $55 replacement stylus (which is the same as the Blue stylus). You could also use the $70 Red stylus for a slight upgrade.

Thanks guys that's what I wanted to hear! I'll have to get a new belt for the TT as well. Not a bad looking TT actually. I'm looking forward to hearing what it sounds like.

They also threw in a JVC TT that look pretty low end. It came with a Shure R25XT, which from what I can find, is also pretty low end. I'll be given both of those to GW along with the lp's I don't want.

Thanks for the help!
