I've had this sitting around for a few months now and had never paid too much attention to it considering it's mono. It came with the broadcast turntable I own and was installed inside, but not being used. After spending all day yesterday wiring up a SUT box, it dawned on me that perhaps THIS is some sort of step up rig as well, so I opened it up. Looks like a step up transformer in there to me, but I can't identify it, or find any original manuals or ads for the 808A. Anyone have any ideas?
