Great HH Scott R337 receiver find
Was trolling CL and found an ad for a R337 Scott receiver in excellent condition with no pics for it. I decided to go and take a look and found a older couple who was moving. The receiver is in mint condition with original receipt and manual. Was bought in 1977 and looks brand new. Picked it up for a pretty cheap price. With the condition it is in I figured I couldn't go wrong. Got home deoxitized it and blew the dust out and it sounds great. Nice warm sound, doesn't heat up too bad. Built very good. And I love the white tuner lights. Been looking for a good solid built vintage receiver for awhile now to add to my collection. Plus, I just read in the manual it will accept 4 ohm speakers and puts out 42 watts per. I will post the specs later on in case someone else needs them. Pics asap.
