A couple months ago I spotted a vintage Bolex tripod @eiraved had for sale in BT-NonAudio. At that time, I made a suggestion to his sale thread that it could be repurposed as a base for a floor lamp in hopes that might help his sale - little did I know (actually I did) that I was actually convincing myself of the purchase. 
Last week, after repeatedly returning to his BT sale thread to see if it was still available, I sent him a DM inquiring. As luck would have it, it was. His great communication and friendly attitude had our sale wrapped up by the end of the week, and that tripod arrived today carefully boxed up, and in excellent condition as described. He even got us a good shipping rate to the island.
