Welcome Pete! My grandmother's middle given name was Limerick, harking back to her Irish roots there. She made it to 103yo. Good stock from that part of the world!
 
Apologies for the late reply as I wasn't online here for a while. Ross castle...that is amazing. We stopped off there whilst on a horse & cart tour around killarney national park...it was winter season and we arrived late afternoon so the the castle was closed. I must visit there again during open season, it looks fantastic. It's a really beautiful part of the country around there as you probably know :)
