Hi All,
just a quick intro:
I am a Brit, living in the countryside, just outside Helsinki Finland.
I have two current working rigs (well the ones that get used the most)
  1. HT 5.1 system and occasional 2ch: Rotel/Cd/processor/amps, Oppo DVD, B&W 8 series, home brew IC's/SCs
  2. Vinyl: Plannar3 modded, Pioneer PL12D (restored and modded), Naim 42.5/110/SNAPS LINN KANS

About myself, In my early teens used to make FM radio transmitters (pirate), late teens speaker enclosure designing for competitions, then sound engineer for studios and large live events. Now days mainly just prefer to sit back and enjoy the experience... Although, I am starting to put together a workshop in an old barn so I can start to service/mod and build again. So I am sure that I will be posting for help and trying to help others as well...

I have been, surfing on and off this forum for sometime now..

I'd wish you a hyvaa paivaa, but I am missing a lot of dots on my a's. Welcome anyhow.

How are you managing with Finnish? It, and Estonian, are brutally difficult languages to learn. It even defeated Tolkien.

@Bigerik: hyvää päivää... yep Finnish is definitely not my forte... Fortunately in my line of business normally my working language is English... Although it is starting to rub off on me a little bit...

Well a lot has changed since the last update of some 13 years to this post, apart from the lack of dusting before taking pictures :police:.

Currently listening system is only digital :rolleyes: into LEAK TL 12 Plus, third version in metallic-grey colour, a tube preamp that I bought many moons ago (can't remember where from (real old age memory loss kicking in), some Altec 604-8gs in original 612c cabs with Werner Jagusch crossovers.

2x JBL 2225J in cinema cabinets, Horns are pioneer TAD copies. 600hz crossover (300hz horns) with TAD td-4001 mids and Coral h-105 tweeters
