Hello all, I've been lurking here for a few months and decided to join. I recently purchased a turn table, and have a receiver on the way. I know I will learn quite a bit from spending some time on this forum every day.

Regards,

No speakers yet faber, I'm waiting on my receiver to get in. I'll probably go with some modern speakers. I'll probably get into Cactus in the very near future, I went to a local thrift store today and picked up some LPs @ 99 cents a pop, just as an excuse to turn on my "new to me" TT. The thrift store had a few of the RCA Living Stereo LPs, so I picked a few up, as well as some "standard" LPs.

I'm very new to the audio scene, so I'm starting out with some starter equipment. My TT is a JVC LF41(circa 1980s) and my receiver is a Harman Kardon 50+ (circa 1970s)

Thanks for replying guys.

Regards,
J.R.

Keep on eye on Cactus' events calendar. Last time I was there (nearly three years, admittedly) they were serving free draft St. Arnolds during live act in-store-promotions on the weekends.

Hey JR, I'm up in Dallas! Definitely hang out here, make some friends, share some infos, cruise cl, and build up a kick-butt stereo!

Greetings, and welcome to AK. I'm a newbie also. I have found some real gems scrounging thrift stores for albums. But with albums, condition is everything! Hope you get set up soon and start enjoying the world of vinyl.
