Hi folks, Just want to introduce myself. I was a lurker for a while and after getting back into vinyl collecting after too many years of CDs, thought a subscription was in order. I have a modest record collection, 450 or so, and run two tables, Pioneer PL-518/Ortofon OM5E cart and a Thorens TD145 that I've been tweaking (just put a Denon DL-110 cart on it and WOW!). My receiver is a Mcintosh MAC1900, and I also run a DBX 3BX series 2.
I'm a former touring musician and these days I'm an IT Director for a health policy think tank in Portland, Maine.

Oh.... I DO use speakers.... I have a beautifully restored pair of Advent 5012Ws. And, a pair of Advent Prodigys that don't get much play time anymore.
 
Welcome. Neighbor. It's a big state with almost everyone living down south...greater Portland area like yourself, and some of us closer to the center. lol
