Welcome.

And tell us how you feel about the buyout of SAAB by Koenigsegg. Happy to have it back in "local" hands?

Lets put it this way.
GM had the money and infra structure, but until today(in GM ownership), SAAB has developed cars with a straightjacket on.
Not even the new SAAB 9-5, that they will launch soon, became that 9-5 that SAAB really wanted it to be. If GM had not hold them down, it would became an even more stylish car.

I think SAAB would be healthy if SAAB had the filosofy of a small brand and it just that what Koenigsegg does best.

But it's just my personal opinion. My friends and my father work at the saab plant in Trollhättan. My father has been there since 1974.

Welcome to AK. Nice set up.... you'll fit right in

RE: SAAB & Koenigsegg... It will be interesting to see where that goes. Even with GM's infrastructure they had to be dragging Saab down with them into the pits of corporate greed. I've always been a fan of Saab, and Koenigsegg...well, you gotta love those cars.
