Hi,

A short introduction of myself. I have been building tube amplifiers since I was 13 years so next year I will celebrate 40 years in this exciting hobby.

In the beginning I didn't know much about theory but as my father had very much knowledge I built some amplifiers according to his instructions. Later I got an education in electronics and have worked long time as a design engineer of radio circuitry. I therefore later started to adapt a more scientific way of designing my own tube ampifiers. I have lived in Japan 8 years and my own interest in tube amplifiers increased even more during that time as the availability and interest of tube amplifiers in Japan is very much higher compared to Europe. Since many years I have been designing OTL amplifiers and I use my own OTL amplifier almost every day, you can see some more about my tube interest here http://www.tubetvr.com/tubeamplifiersindex.html

I am member of some other tube related forums but recently discovered this one and I look forward to contribute and take part in the discussions here.

Best Regards from Hans, (tubetvr)

Welcome aboard. Cool web site. I've tried single-ended as well as different push-pull amps but never an OTL - always something else to keep one interested.
