Greetings from the Tarheel State

It really is. Like your signature.:)

I can't remember where I stole it, but it made me laugh harder than I had in a while... Not to mention that in my case, it's probably a little too close to the truth for comfort, especially if you asked my wife.

Thanks for the TS info. It was originally opened by an aquaintance of mine.

The Pauls Place AKer has a killer system.

Audio Lab is probably the best. Operated by the gentleman that founded Hartley speakers. He reconed and recoiled the drivers in my vintage McIntosh speakers and replaced the surrounds. Southeastern Radio in the 70s was minimal but the best we had then. Use to have to drive to Raleigh to look at gear and Charlotte was mecca for us in those days.
Now its off to listen to a little Mose Allison and then bed time.
Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Welcome! Just joined myself. Headed towards Pender county as soon as I finish typing this in search of waves and fresh oysters.

Oysters....now you're talking. Surfing? Have'nt done that in many years. Have a great time and give me a shout if you make it to Wilmington.

I wussed out, couldn't make it past the cold floor to paddle out. We did kayak over and get a big old mess of oysters, pretty relaxing watching them pop open in the fire with a beer in my hand. All it lacked was some vintage audio equipment..... I used to work summers on Topsail Island, so I still make it down there quite often.
