One thing glossed over in the video - You should be aware that the unit requires exacting environmental conditions to perform properly.
The ERC-8T has an optimal operating temperature of -160° C. The ECUs need to stabilize for two hours, resulting in a barely-acceptable temperature fluctuation of ±0.02° C. The optional liquid nitrogen bath for the D/A converters is strongly recommended.
Room humidity is also a factor. This must be kept up to a minimum of 81 percent or performance will suffer. This does result in significant internal frosting of the ERC-8T, limiting listening cycles to a maximum of 3 minutes with an 8 hour rest period between cycles.
