Grundig Lautsprecher Box 40 speakers

I have recently acquired these speakers from my father, and don't really know much about them - can anyone shed some light on these, as far as performance, value, etc?

There was a 40a model which was a bit different, better range I believe. Old Grundig has some charm and collector interest.

Thanks for the info, guys. The 25 watt spec kinda surprises me. They are certianly not the best speakers I've ever heard, but not awful sounding either. At least they are in fairly good cosmetic shape, and appear to be functioning well with my SX-650 and ADC SS-315 EQ hooked up to them. Not. Nearly as great sounding as the AR-92's I picked up today

Wattage rating won't have a lot to do with sound quality. These, being old speakers, were probably designed to be very efficient speakers. They could get loud on a small ten or twenty five watt tube amp.
