GTA/Ontario - Mirage M-7si - $425 (Toronto)

A nice price for high-end Canadian speakers.

I would not get too excited about those at that price. I am a huge M series fan and love my M3-si but the magic kind of stopped below the 5 which was still a full range bi-polar design. The 7 on the other hand is similar to the lower end x90/95 series. The only bi-polar element is a single full range driver (with foam surround prone to rotting) firing at the rear. A nice speaker but basically something like a M-790 in a nicer cabinet rather than a real M.

And nowhere near the high end of the range, they were about 1/4 the price of the 1.

Still - it was a $1300 speaker... and for ~$400 you'd have to find DQ-10s or maybe Hereseys to play in their league. But... as we all know - scores are always possible.

If I had $400 to spend, it wouldn't be on DQ-10's, and certainly not Herresy's, but that's just me.
