Guess the amp from the picture? A sansui?

Hi guys, while I try to get an answer from the seller (and hopefully a better picture!) I'm trying to figure out which amp could this be.. My google search tells me it's very close to the Sansui AU 505.. But there's one more knob in the second row.. It could be another brand too, but it resembles a lot the Sansui..

So, here's hoping I can get an answer from any party! Thanks!!

Still not right though. On your photo the two knobs on the left have lettering and a line connecting their use. The AU-666 doesn't......
 
The silver "plates" on both sides are very similar though; that's another possible indication that it's indeed a Sansui (or a very close replica! Odd..). Which model is still a mistery.

Interesting. However I couldn't find a Nikko that resembles the rest of the knobs layout (the 750 has no radio, it is a little cloooser but still far)
Still, this poses the question if it's really a Sansui at all..

Yep I thought of that too but @dontmindme said it right. The connecting lines are not there in the 666. Definitely another equipment or a heavily changed/localized version as indicated by @Ronito6.
Hope they answer me soon so I can disclose this asap.
 
I'm really not certain that it's a Sansui.

One particular feature is that the text for the brand/model name appears to be 'right justified' whilst Sansui gear is always 'centre justified'.

I still think it might be a Sansui, from an unusual range of Quad related models (?) looking like AU-7900 and similar, there was a recent query here on AK regarding one of these models, the owner lived in Australia I believe.

I just can't bring the model prefix to mind at the moment....

Darn I solved the mistery.. Well, indeed I was able to contact the seller, to be honest.. But it was quite obvious.. Let me tell you how it goes.
There was a brand here in the 70s, Sansei, manufactured locally that was somehow tied to Sansui (some rebranding? local license?). And this is it. I had forgotten about it..
Now I was able to spot the model (notice the labels in spanish)..

Thank everyone for the help and sorry to be misleading, I was really hoping it to be a Sansui ;)

If it was built locally under license from Sansui, it would have the Sansui name. This is likely some sort of copy or knock off. Japanese companies at this time sometimes had licensing agreements in countries that restricted imports. Can you get a picture with the cover off?

Hi Pete you're correct I think it's a knock off. I didn't find any good info out there I will have to ask the old audio guys here who may have a clue.
 
I just googled a little bit more and I found that the new company here ("Newsan") indicates that in the past they "licensed products from Aiwa and Sansui" - so there actually be a connection there. As for the insides, nope I didn't buy the amp and I don't think I will (and the guy don't seem willing to send more photos), it's not a Sansui for sure :) I'd love that you guys take a look so I'll try to see what's around in the web.

EDIT: After asking around they tell me that the products were made with low quality components, nothing to do with Sansui (no protection circuit etc). Failed Dopplegangers :D
