Home built for sure possibly a distribution amp possibly for the PA system in a church.

Well, a regulated supply is certainly a possibility, but the fact that these are pairs of MJ802/MJ4502 which were very nice audio outputs back in the day before the MJ15003/4 series showed up may suggest a very big DIY power amp, although in a weird configuration. Considering there's 4 RCA's for possible inputs, and large barrier strips might mean this was a possible multichannel amp.

Certainly, the chassis, and just the vintage output transistors is worth the gamble, even if many of the transistors might be blown. Of course, it looks like whatever type of heatsinks were there are now missing. I would certainly want to take a look inside, not trusting someone to say its just completely empty - those TO-3 cases might be bolted to nice sockets internally. Would love to know what all the transistor part numbers are. 16 total transistor positions.

Would think that a power supply would be much better marked and labeled as to usage.
