Hammond chassis?

Have a friend who wants a tube amp built but he needs a protective cage cause of pet issues.

I have been looking at the Hammond enclosure line up as they offer a cover.

Has anyone used one of these chassis and would care to comment on the quality?

Is the metal thick enough to support trannies without top plate sag?

Any other suggestions for blank chassis?

You can't go wrong with the Hammond enclosures. They are designed and made just for what you are talking about.

Built a tube amp and passive pre's in them, very good quality at a decent price. Go for it!
