Hammond EL84 Tubes

Hi all,
I just received a set of Hammond EL84 tubes made in Germany
any clues of who made them, there in pretty nice shape no burns
marks have not tried them out yet.

Check on the bottom in the area between the pins. If there is a diamond shape in the center, that'll be Telefunken. If not them, possibly Siemens or Valvo.

Amperex is a possibility.

What color is the lettering? Orange? Do they have the 4 creases on the very top?

Now look for two rows of smallish acid etched letters near the base and let us know what they are.

I have four hammond El84 tubes that are made in holland. They have the four creases and I believe the were made at Heleen by amprex. The codes on the tube will lead the way. They sound sweet btw.

yes! sorry misspelling.. Heerlen factory made. I can not remember if amprex was my determination or not but certainly Heerlen factory.
