Hammond pr40 tube amps

I have in my possession 2 complete PR 40 TUBE AMPS with power supplies. Since they have a built-in electronic crossover( unknown xover pt?)would it be practical to use them for a stereo bi-amp setup? These are the later amps with 6BQ5 tubes. Am I thinking about trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear? JOHN

I ponder the same thing with some sort of a 2-way bi-amp on one chassis, and ditch the reverb circuits.
One external PS should have plenty of gumption to run two of the PR40 amplifiers.

The output transformers have cathode windings to the cathodes of the output tubes...which seems rather interesting.
