Happy Birthday U.S. America! :thmbsp:

Happy July 4th to all U.S. Americans, where ever you are at and proudly display our flag and have a good and safe holiday.:D

So now that we have this thread, what is everyone listening to to celebrate?

I started with Glenn Miller. The 1812 Overture will likely enter the scene. Who knows what else is coming? Got a few hours before the fireworks show in Leon Valley tonight.

Yippee! Thanks and happy returns. It will be a quiet day here in Munich. The only Ami's that I know here are my kids. My son will be coming by after he gets off work and we'll hoist a bier and a Jacky together. BY then it might actually sound like the 4th because of all the soccer fans here.

Cheers,
James

Well for starters later today I will definitely be jamming out (loud!) to Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A." and Lee Greenwoods "Proud to be an American" as well as "God Bless the U.S.A."!

A very happy and safe 4th to all of you celebrating today.

Say, we have our day on the 1st, you on the 4th...we really ought to consider an amalgamation of the two runnng from the 1st to the 4th then hitch that to a weekend for a six day run?:scratch2::scratch2::scratch2:

Nice thought, but trying to sell the idea to every employer in both countries would be quite a challenge.

Happy 4th of July!

I'm going to be an American tonight, even more of an American than I usually am!

Germany just scored a goal. My wife is screaming at the top of her lungs and firecrackers are going off everywhere outside. Sounds just like the Fourth. I'm happy.

Prost!
James

I am surprised they allow fire crackers in Germany or all of Europe for that matter. Heck half the states here don't allow them, the last 4th I celebrated I was visited by the man, his words "no more or you go to jail".
