Thanks for all the birthday wishes! My wife & I picked up my Mom and drove to Sauk Centre, MN for lunch at the Tutti-Fruitti Kitchen. A unique place for sure. It's on a farm, began as a vegetable stand and just grew & grew. EVERYTHING from scratch. Besides a menu of burgers, sandwiches, etc. (and fantastic breakfasts) they offer a lunch buffet. Baked chicken was the entrée on the buffet yesterday, and it was super. Bonus: Since it was my birthday, I got a free piece of pie! And...Marlene (the owner) then came by our table with her concertina and serenaded me with "Happy Birthday." They're only open til 2:30 during the week, 2 on Saturday and closed Sunday...so plan accordingly.
