Happy Birthday fiddlefye!

My birthday falling mid-week this year and being one of the "milestone" variety (70 - yikes) my Dear Lady Wife insisted on doing a party. We did a house party for my 60th and nothing for my 65th as it fell during the pandemic, so this time we're doing the big room at Ojibway Nature Centre in Windsor's west end (near the new Gordie Howe Bridge). A party needs tunes and I decided to go the straight-up CD route.

The system comprises:

Sony 608ESD CDP (freshly serviced by my tech Dennis with a new belt) running on variable output for the first time ever.
Heybrook P2 power amp
EPI M50 speakers - bought new just about exactly a half century ago.
A couple of small stands to get the speakers up off the floor.
Quite easily portable and quick to set up and take down.
Currently playing some Corelli trio sonatas in the living room and sounding seriously delicious.
