I really do appreciate the kind wishes. Its a quiet birthday for me this year, my mother (age 82) has been in the hospital for some time, and the situation with her (Cancer) doesnt seem to be improving. My father isnt the youngest person either (85) and has health concerns of his own to deal with, but right now, him, me, and my two brothers are very concerned about my mother. I would be enjoying my birthday more if she were feeling better, but unfortunately, it looks like things might be taking a downward turn with her, and I dont see good things in the months ahead..... I'm still hoping the doctors in the hospital can do what whatever they can do so that her health condition improves, but.... I get the feeling I might be facing the very unpleasant reality that she might be going in the direction of, lets just put it as..., the inevitable outcome. I ask that you please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
