Good evening all, well it's late Thursday evening here in this part of the world (Queensland, Australia) and tomorrow is Good Friday to be followed by the Easter long weekend.

I'm not planning on doing very much over the Easter long weekend but I hope to spend some quality time listening to vinyl. The weather looks like it might be a little rainy, so it's perfect weather for listening to records. :thmbsp: Happy Easter everyone! Regards, Felix aka catman.

Just Thursday here, and the expected weather is to be in the upper 80's for the weekend. I have 16 family members coming in for Easter Sunday Dinner, and will catch the Sunrise Service at the local Mountain top Retreat. We plan an easter egg hunt for the nieces and nephews after diner, so the only music this weekend via the vintage rig will be Handel's Messiah as I prepare dinner. Happy Easter to all especially to our troops around the world, who are separated from their families .

Happy Easter, Cat! It will be sunny here in good ol' Oklahoma, so right after church, we'll be grillin' some burgers. Well, we were invited by a family anyway. Unfortunately, no vinyl there (not even CD's!). He is just an HDTiVaholic kinda guy :D
 
Happy Easter, Felix! I do hope your rainy weather doesn't 'rise to the level' that ours did over the preceding several days here in southern New England. Several towns (including mine) in Connecticut alone recorded rainfall in excess of 10 nches. Bridges out, roads closed, basements flooded (not mine thank God). Ah, but I digress.

Family gathering in Massachusetts for Easter Sunday Dinner is on the agenda along with some significantly drier, sunny weather.

Still have to work this afternoon and tomorrow, but monday is a holiday, so I got three days of eating and drinking too much and lots of music coming my way.

Hello Catman - Happy Easter to you as well! Have four different versions of Messiah I hope to be spinning this weekend as well - excellent way to tune out some of the hustle and bustle and focus on the true meaning of the weekend :yes:
 
G'day all, it's Easter Saturday morning here and it's raining, as forecast! I actually wanted to go downstairs and do some antenna work on my Ham Radio antennas today but it's no fun in the rain...and gas soldering irons don't work too well when they're wet!

Likewise I have a couple of vinyl versions of Messiah and one got played yesterday, another today I expect. I have to be careful with my diet this weekend as I had an Easter hot cross bun for breakfast this morning, as being high carbohydrate it pushed my blood glucose up considerably..a definite concern for diabetics like me!

It is pouring rain here as well, high wind has force some ferries to be cancelled.

Happy Easter to you as well. It will be a family affair for me. There will be 15 of us getting together at mom's house. Weather is expected to be sunny and near 80 degrees.

Happy Easter Cat and everyone. I'ts going to be mid 70's and sunny here in New England this weekend. Opening day at Fenway as well. My family and in-laws are all meeting for brunch at a local restaraunt, it has been a tradition.
