Hello, and Happy New Year!

New member here from Long Island, NY. I've been lurking about for some time and finally joined up a couple of weeks ago. I have some vintage mid-level gear I bought in the 80's and am still using and enjoying, and I'm also in the midst of setting up a system around a pair of Dahlquist DQ-20i speakers I was given as a gift a few years ago but never set up. I must admit, I'm a little intimidated by the audiophile world and all the technical jargon, so before I start bombarding the forum with questions and recommendation requests, I figured I'd first say hello and introduce myself.

Welcome, Walt. New member here, also. Also building a system around a pair of Dahlquist DQ 20i that I have had since the late 90s. If you haven’t already, I would strenuously recommend that you purchase the capacitor and wiring upgrade kits for these amazing speakers from Regnar.com.
