Happy Turkey Day to all.

This is my wife and I's first Thanksgiving without our children since we moved so were going to go over to a friends house. I've had a few things go south on me this year but I'm still thankful for all I do have because I know others are doing with so much less.

Just wonderin', this is the second "Happy Thanksgiving" thread I've posted to, and I see that there is already at least one more (without scrolling down very far). How many will spring up, and will they all be consolidated? Not that I'm complainin', mind ya! It does a PW's count good to give thanks for multiple threads... And of course, one from Grumpy has to be more "official" and the one the others get grandfathered into/under...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone...working in the kitchen while our elder son (home from school) is still abed. Our other son is traveling with his school class and family will arrive around noon. It'll be nice to have a meal with my parents.

No family (all too far away) no guests, just some standing rib, scalloped potatoes, carrots&raisins and a bit of bubbly to go with it.

No "baked bird" in this house today. The holiday setup is about a 15 minute drive away including little ones. (Just add soda pop, makes their own mischief!) I'll help with the setup and take down and provide a little comic relief along the way . . .

Happy Thanksgiving AK friends and Mr. and Mrs. G! I am blessed with a loving wife, two young, happy, healthy boys, my wife's best friend as a guest, a beautiful day, good coffee, and our first Thanksgiving in our new home. God is amazing with his blessings. I'll take Grace over Justice anyday.
