"Hard Day's Night" - Mystery Solved

It is claimed that nobody has ever been able to reproduce, as in reverse engineer, the opening chord of The Beatles' "Hard Days Night" - the breakdown of the chord has remained a mystery: Until know, as the mystery has been solved - not by a musician, but by a mathematician.

Cool, I can actually understand a little on how the Fourier transofrm works as I have experience dealing with FT's through my Fourier Transfor Infra Red metrology experience. Not that I can actually do the math needed to derive the seperate intergrals of the chord.

I sent the link to a friend of mine who is a musician and Beatles scholar. He said its baloney- there is no mystery, its just a D11 chord on a 12-string guitar. He said he has a live version of the song, played by the Beatles, same chord. Just George, nobody else.
 
Very interesting read! Every guitarist I know including myself have searched for this illusive chord since we first heard it in 1964! Now I know we were all wrong!
