Hey everyone! I’ve had my Harman Kardon 930 since around 2017 and absolutely love the sound. I mostly listen to classic rock vinyl from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s—Beatles, Beach Boys, Zeppelin, Eagles, Duran Duran, and so on.
Recently, I noticed an issue with Phono 2—the right channel is very low. I prefer using Phono 2 since it’s right next to the FM input, which makes switching between sources super convenient. I should also mention that the previous seller said that it had been recapped recently (around 2016 or so).
My setup:
When I plug the turntable into Phono 1, both channels sound great—no issues. So it seems isolated to Phono 2.
Also, a minor quirk: the STEREO indicator never lights up on FM, even though I can clearly hear stereo separation in the signal.
Any thoughts on where I should start with troubleshooting? Appreciate any insights!
TIA....JP

My setup:
- HK 930 receiver
- Pioneer PL-400 turntable
- Ortofon 2M cartridge
