Unit has been used daily w/o problems.
Unit not used for 2 weeks but left powered on (see "5 years ago" in Symptoms - didn't want to disturb it.)
Unit then malfunctioned as follows:
Symptoms:
I believe I read that these had a circuit board cracking problem?
Have unplugged and done the Reset procedure to no effect.

Maybe it's time to get a new AVR... But then who makes quality low-mid level models these days? I thought it used to be Yamaha but that may no longer be true.
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Unit then malfunctioned as follows:
Symptoms:
- No speaker output
- Tuning dial blue light is out
- When remote is set to AVR, must press AVR again to set audio input, speaker size, etc. - it doesn't "remember" it is set to AVR
- 5 years ago, no speaker output, retired unit for about 1 month, tried it and it started working again until now.
- Possible optical audio incompatibility with Hisense 55" 4k TV: "LOOM" (Left Output Over Modulated) when TV is switched from Tuner to Netflix and non-DD programming is encountered. Solution is to swtch TV to HDMI input, turn TV off, turn TV on, go to Netflix.
There is not a lot of internet talk of this problem so I think it could be a specific problem with the 430.
