Harman kardon Avr75-static in left channel

Hello!

I picked up a nice Harman/kardon avr 75 and some klipsch speakers off craigslist and I noticed the left front channel has some background static. Nothing violent or offensive just annoying. When music is on it is not noticeable, but it is there. It does not increase or decrease with the volume nor does it really fluctuate in intensity. I blew the dust out and deoxed everything I could but no change. Any ideas what this might be and how to go about resolving this issue?

Transistor gone bad? Bad cap or resistor? Nothing looks fried or in bad shape...

So it is pretty quiet for the first few minutes and then the channel starts to act up, could this be a thermal issue with the power transistor heating up and getting noisy? The transistor are toshiba 1941a. Should I just replace them?
 
Did you ever fix this issue? I have a similar problem, albeit on a completely different bit of gear. I suspect its the transistors, but trying to find more information before I start buying replacements.
 
No, I am surprised no one has insight on this issue, especially since it seems to happen on some gear...let me know if you come up with anything!
