hey all,
i’ve got a short in the left channel of my Harman Kardon Citation 22.
I’ve already swapped every cap for fresh ones, decoupled all the peripheral boards, and narrowed it down to the left-channel main driver board. i’m reading about 160 kΩ between the + and – leads on the big filter caps (right channel is OL), and i’ve double-checked cap orientation and looked for solder bridges. I unfortunately found nothing.
Should i pull and test the driver transistors next, or is there another trick/component i’m missing? any tips on how to proceed on this appreciated. I want to avoid fidling to much with this old traces, so better I start it the right way from the begining.
best, sam
