The Balance on my Harman Kardon PM650 doesn't work.
Mono works through both speakers. Stereo only works through Left channel. Reverse setting on the dial works but swaps it to the Right Channel, with Left (which should be swapped to Right, still not working. No sound.)
Stereo doesn't work through both channels. Only Mono works through both channels.
Both speaker sets used to work. Then balance control failed on the speaker set 1. So I changed my speakers (B&W v201) to speaker set 2 and it worked. After an hour, speaker set 2 balance control also failed.
What do I do? I'm at a loss. I love this amp. Found it on the street in a hard rubbish throughout; put some fuses in and, yep, I happy as a pig in s***.
Suggestions appreciated. I don't mind soldering. Can't seem to locate the PM650 Service Manual. Feeling lost.
