They have this part, which is supposedly a direct replacement for the KEF T-33, gasket and all. But, I'm not familiar with the company in any way. Does anyone know the quality of their parts?
Has anybody here bought parts from Midwest Speaker?

Midwest Speaker is a reputable company. I purchased my foam surrounds and foam donuts for my KEF 104/2s from them. I know an individual who purchased their replacement tweeter for the KEF 104/2 from them. Both products are good quality.
Are your T33 tweeters damaged that you want to replace them?

No but, just looking at options. I have heard that, if the fluid is dried up, it can cause the delicate parts to stick together and they can be damaged when you try to pull the speaker apart. So, if that ultimately happens to me, I'll have a good option for replacement. It sounds like Midwest's replacement part is comparable to the factory original?
I'm rebuilding the infamous woofers soon. Then I'm going to recap the crossovers, and then see where I'm at with the tweeters.

The tweeters are actually the easiest to do. I did mine in about 30 min for each tweeter. Mine were dried up but I had no trouble taking the tweeter apart. You just have to be careful separating the voice coil diaphragm from the magnet. If you are careful and slowly slide a razor blade or similar blade around the seal you can separate them and reuse the adhesive which is kind of a thick double-sided tape. there are several online videos available.

Purchased replacement pair Polk tweeters a couple years ago from them when they had a sale offering a discount. The RD0194 ones. One of the old Silver Coil ones was bad. I think they have been around for some time. Also have gotten surround kits in the past from Simply Speakers.
