In a recent trade hatrack71 sent me a Dual 1009 turntable. He packed it brilliantly with custom-cut styrofoam and the vulnerable pieces in separate compartments. I'd guess that his packing job protected the table even better than whatever original packaging Dual shipped it in.

And the turntable arrived in better-than-described condition. It's in excellent shape for a mid-1960s piece of equipment. All functions work properly, the mechanisms are clean, and it's got that punchy idler sound. Very fun! :music:

Wow - Same kind of experience I had with Kyle - bought an Audio Alchemy DAC In The Box from him
and he individually packed the Power supply and DAC in separate boxes, put them in a larger box,
and then put sliced foam between all the boxes to protect everything on the way here.

Worked like a champ, and a Real Gentleman to deal with Thank you, Mr Hatrack71!!
